"Alone But Not Alone"

I searched the crowded room
To see your friendly face
But it wasn't there that day
So alone I left that place.

I called you on the phone
But you weren't there to hear
The sadness in my voice that day
And offer a bit of cheer.

I knocked upon your door
But you weren't home that day
So Jesus came to visit me,
He's with me every day.

Alone but not alone
Jesus is always near
Alone but not alone
He'll wipe away each tear.

He found me in the deepest pit;
In the depths of misery,
And Loved me with that same Love
That was displayed at Calvary.
